Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor, who was renowned for her wide variety of roles in films TV, theatre, and film. Her work was recognized with numerous awards, such as an award called the Daytime Emmy Award for her work in television and theater. The late 1990s saw her become famous for her performances in the crime drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer and the political comedy Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart is an American actress. She was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba of the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. She is the granddaughter and daughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was a young actress when she began her acting career. For T is for Tumbleweed, her first movie role was when she was just four years old. The short film that dealt with a topic was selected to win an academy award. Mother and daughter spent a lot of time together on set, learning about the business. Lockhart also appeared in a few scenes of Lassie. The first film she appeared in was Dora in Jory in 1972. She turned 18 year old and portrayed Joan Crawford's daughter Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the only actor to make an appearance in The Sixth Sense. Many believe that Anne rejected the role as Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's 1978 film, Halloween. Jaime Lee Curtis was given the part. Carpenter stated that Anne was his initial selection for the role but she refused. Anne does not remember being contact by John Carpenter nor being offered the position. It's possible one of Anne's agents declined it because of her, but she didn't tell her. The initial decision was for the part by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for an appearance in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. Her initial reaction was to decline the role since the character did not seem to be strong enough. Glen was able to write an even stronger character with Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend's script after having read the first 25 pages. The show ran for one season. She was in Joyride, a 1977 movie with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
