Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. Her family was raised in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. At the academy and performing in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career began in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the wake of that film's success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside in the role of Ollie. She also was offered the role as Bambi on the ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in three and two series. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport on ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it came to an end. The actress was selected in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. After being a regular for the first two seasons, it was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode from the 3rd season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. From June to July 2012, the actress got married to her long-time partner actor Iddo Goldberg. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all sportsmen, played in the summer months and play hockey in the winter months. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. As a result, as she grew older when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley became a dancer from that moment. Until she graduated from high school, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip-hop. Ashley was awarded the best individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
